I loved having my own private entrance, even though it was a struggle to open. The oven was great for reheating my takeout, and the air conditioning kept me cool when it actually worked. Free wifi saved me from boredom while waiting for a repairman.

Who needs a functioning air conditioning or easy-to-open door? It's all part of the rustic charm, right?

We had some difficulties finding the apartment as there was no signage indicating its name. we were startled on our second night when someone rang the doorbell in the middle of the night without any prior notification.
